Class Gift Campaign

Penn State seniors have a long tradition of giving to Penn State, beginning with the class of 1861. Penn State landmarks such as the Lion Shrine and the Allen Street Gates, in addition to numerous class scholarships, are the result of senior class enthusiasm and financial support.

The mission of the Class Gift Campaign is to promote a philanthropic spirit among the graduating class by providing students an opportunity to start their legacy of giving to the University. Through a collective effort to give back to their alma mater, Penn State seniors leave behind a bit of their own personality and take their first steps toward becoming proud alumni.
The 2015 Class Gift goes green
On October 22, 2014, the class of 2015 selected a solar panel array as the 2015 Class Gift in support of a vision of a more sustainable Penn State. The first step of many to come, the solar array will serve as a renewable energy source and a valuable educational resource, and it will align with Penn State's goal to reduce building energy use by 20 percent over the next decade. The solar array will also build awareness of our energy-reduction efforts and proclaim Penn State's strong commitment to sustainability and a greener future. Pledge your support today.
