Class Gift Campaign

Our Mission

Beginning with the class of 1861, Penn State seniors have a long and rich tradition of giving back to Penn State. From the Lion Shrine to the Allen Street Gates, the HUB Aquarium to the Victory Bell, the legacy of Penn State seniors encompasses the spirit, enthusiasm, passion and tradition of the University.

Our mission as the Class Gift Campaign is simple: promote a philanthropic spirit among the graduating class by providing students an opportunity to leave their legacy at the University they call home. Through a collective effort, the senior class has the opportunity to give both their time and financial resources in order to leave their mark on Penn State and take their first step toward becoming proud alumni.

The 2017 Class Gift: Supplying food for students who need it!

An endowment to support Lion's Pantry. The class of 2017 has selected a permanent, annual source of funding available to Lion's Pantry, the student food bank, to help in-need and at-risk students by providing free food to any student with a Penn State ID. Now, we need our class to work collectively to make this endowment a reality by making a gift today. The amount of the annual funding to Lion's Pantry is proportional to the initial amount donated by the class, so the more funding that is donated, the more the annual amount available to the center increases.

Help the senior class ensure that our fellow students can focus on getting good grades and not on getting a good meal.
